Terms of Service

By using Fillscribe, you agree to use the service responsibly and only for work you are allowed to submit or transform.

1. What Fillscribe does

Fillscribe accepts worksheets, generates answers with AI, and returns a filled PDF using handwriting or typed rendering. AI output can be wrong, so you are responsible for reviewing results before use.

2. Accounts and usage

Usage is tracked in pages. Plus limits are enforced server-side before a fill starts.

3. Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your plan remains active until the end of the paid billing period after cancellation.

4. Restrictions

• Do not upload content you do not have permission to process.
• Do not attempt to bypass quotas, authentication, or security controls.
• Do not use Fillscribe for harmful, illegal, or deceptive activity.

5. Availability

We work to keep the service available, but OCR, AI providers, hosting platforms, and payment systems can occasionally fail or be slow.

Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum information needed to authenticate accounts, enforce usage, process payments, and deliver filled PDFs.

1. Information we process

• Firebase account identifiers such as UID, email, and profile name.
• Usage counts, plan, referral metadata, settings, and Shortcut API keys.
• Uploaded worksheet files while they are being processed.
• The finished PDF, which is held for up to 30 minutes so you can preview and download it, then deleted.
• Your handwriting recording, if you teach Fillscribe your handwriting.
• Usage analytics, such as which pages are viewed and which buttons are used.

2. Worksheet retention

We do not offer a persistent in-app worksheet history. Uploaded files are used for the active fill, and the finished PDF is held for up to 30 minutes so you can download it, then deleted.

3. Your handwriting recording

If you teach Fillscribe your handwriting, the recording is stored against your account and used to write your own worksheets. It is never shown to other users as yours.

Recordings you send on or after October 20, 2026 may also be used to improve Fillscribe for everyone, for example to make the handwriting it writes look better. We do not sell recordings. A recording you sent before October 20, 2026 is used only to write your own worksheets, and stays that way unless you tell us it is fine to use it too.

Removing your recording in Settings deletes it from our servers. If it has already helped improve Fillscribe, what was learned from it is not taken back out.

4. Service providers

Fillscribe uses Firebase (sign-in and account data), Render (hosting), Modal (processing), Google's Gemini models, sometimes through OpenRouter (reading and answering worksheets), MiniMax and Reducto (analysing a writing sample, if you add one), Stripe (payments), and PostHog (analytics and error reports).

5. Security

Authentication and usage enforcement happen server-side.

6. Your choices

You can cancel Plus, remove your handwriting recording in Settings, or request account data deletion.
