Worksheet question types
Fillscribe writes answers on lines and in blanks, cells and boxes. It draws marks for questions that ask you to pick, match or mark something. This page lists each type and what Fillscribe does with it.
Written answers
| Type | What Fillscribe does |

| Short answer on a line | Writes the answer on the printed rule. The length follows the space available. |
| Blank inside a sentence | Writes the word or phrase in the blank. |
| Table cell | Writes inside the cell, clear of the printed text. |
| Answer box | Writes inside the box. |
| Numbers and simple maths | Writes numbers, fractions and basic operations. |
| Name, class and date | Fills them from settings. Left blank if you have not saved them. |
Marks
| Type | What Fillscribe does |

| Multiple choice | Circles or ticks the option, or fills the bubble, depending on how the worksheet asks. |
| True or false | Ticks or circles the answer. |
| Matching | Draws a line between the two items. |
| Underline the word | Underlines it. |
| Cross out | Strikes it through. |
| Highlight | Highlights it with a marker swipe or a clean rectangle. You choose which in settings. |
Limits
- Heavy maths notation is still being worked on.
- Answers are what fits in the answer space, not pages of working out.
- It only sees the page you upload, so answers that rely on material it has not seen can be wrong.
- Files are PDF, PNG or JPG up to 10 MB, and the output is always a PDF.
Questions
Does it handle matching questions?
Yes. It draws a line between the two items.
Does it write essays?
It writes what fits in the answer space. It is not built for long essays or pages of working out.
